After a a night at the Sweetwaters Tented Camp, guests will be driven to the Aberdare National Park, which is one of the best reserves in East Africa; encompassing a wide range of vegetative habitats and hosting a wide range of wildlife. You spend your nigh at the Ark. The Ark overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick, which attracts a host of awesome wildlife. Modeled after Noah’s Ark, The Ark has four viewing decks with balconies and lounges to provide superb game viewing from the comfort of the lodge. The animals come to you!
After a night at the Aberdare National Park, guests will be driven to Lake Nakuru National Park, home to thousands of flamingos and big game species. This will provide a rustic experience for a night before you continue into the world-famous Masai Mara. The Masai Mara is home of the Wildebeest Migration the 8th wonder of the world.
Met on arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, briefed by a Smart Travel representative and drive through the lush Kikuyu farmlands and coffee plantation to the cool Kenyan highlands to arrive at the Sweetwaters Tented Camp. Lunch at the Camp and at 1600hrs; enjoy an afternoon game drive within the reserve, which has also a private sanctuary for chimpanzees and rhinos. Dinner and overnight at camp.
Depart after breakfast and proceed south to the Aberdare Country Club. The club is the base hotel for your tree hotel-The Ark. Lunch at the club. At 1430hrs; transfer Aberdare baby leopard on treeto the Ark which is located in the Aberdare National Park, with small overnight bags as most of the luggage is left at the club. The Ark has various decks and balconies for easy viewing and photography of wild game. Dinner and overnight of game viewing at the lodge.
After breakfast, transfer back to the base hotel to retrieve rest of your luggage and drive towards the Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving at Lake Nakuru Lodge / Similar in time for lunch. At 1600hrs, enjoy an afternoon game drive in park that also takes you to the shores of the Nakuru Flamingoeslake famous for its birdlife especially flamingos that form a pink hue across the lake. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Depart Nakuru after breakfast and drive through the floor of the Rift Valley to the world famous Masai Mara gamreserve, arriving at Keekorok Lodge / Similar in time for lunch. At 1600hrs enjoy an afternoon game drive in the reserve.Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
It’s market day in Lausanne! Enjoy browsing and packing a picnic lunch for our 11 a.m. boat cruise on Lake Geneva. A few miles down-shore we’ll dock at Château de Chillon, where we’ll have a guided tour of this delightfully medieval castle on the water. On our way back we’ll take time to peek into the vineyards surrounding Lutry before returning to Lausanne. Boat: 2 hrs. Bus: 1 hr. Walking: moderate.
Depart the Mara after breakfast and drive back to Nairobi arriving early afternoon. Lunch at the Carnivore restaurant and then transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your international flight back home.
